The first legitimate and recognized fight between Lowvire and Velian forces. With Princess Pearl es Lowvire and her army of 200 troops set for ambush on one side, and Velia's 300 man levee on the other.

The treeline that runs along the road from Omeranth was an obvious tactical player in Pearl's station in the siege of Omeranth, and Pearl knew this. Her hardiest men were stationed on the road, while the other skirmishers, archers and lesser troops were placed a hundred yards ahead either in the treeline or on the river bank, effectively hiding them from view of the road.   Pearl was faced with a large force of lesser troops; levied Velian peasants that outnumbered them by a third. But Pearl's placement of the ambush and outright superior troops turned the battle into an almost immediate victory. Archers fired on the Velian flanks while the front marched on the forward lines.   Not one to take a petty victory or to let an opportunity go unchecked, Pearl halted her main force when the Velian's began to flee and rout. Instead, she had the skirmishers and faster lightly mounted troops run down survivors and bring them back to the camp. This included the general of the Velian army.
