The 'Meseline Sylvan War' Begins and Ends

Forced on the threat of annihilation, the Sylvan elves fight the approaching Velian armies in the mountains east of Andrala.

Being unprepared for combat and wholly green to wartime conditions, the Elves suffer major losses in the two ensuing battles against the Velians but manage to deal major blows to them regardless. The elves end up routing, having only dealt about 10% casualties to the two-thousand man force of the Velians. Not a monumental blow but enough to earn Sir Feldavar Ei’Vermant a medal for his actions.   As for the elves, their scattered forces returned to their homes. Some of the elven tribes managed to get past the actions of those who fought out of fear, others dissolved and were made to assimilate into civilization.
