Peasants Revolt in Cartherin

Hateful of their new militarized rulers, the peasantfolk of Cartherin rise up in arms.

When the protests in Cartherin turned violent, Commander Pearl decided it was high time to lay down the groundwork of order.   She commanded the Lowvire forces in town to withdraw and take down some of the fortifications as they retreated. The following day, a new order was introduced; Pearl led the charge back through the hole they had made, her court wizard by her side. Using magic to amplify his voice, the wizard announced to the people that didorderly conduct would be punished harshly.   Naturally the peasants were sceptical and outraged that the invaders hadn't given up, the revolts did not stop until 12 people, including the previous lord of the town, his wife and two sons were execuited in the town square.   Stunned and fearful, the peasants fell back into line.
