Background and Role in Our Story

Coming from a line of civil servants, accountants and magistrates, Master Bardeid was the first person in his ancestry to display any magical ability. He put the same precise mind towards his studies as the rest of his family did towards their tasks and jobs, though he lost none of the bureaucratic skills that his family had taught him. Therefore, Master Bardeid climbed the rungs of the Mage's guild of Viseria and was the perfect fit for the highly complicated yet important role of Head of magical commerce and regulation; a position which most have been unwillingly forced into but that Master Bardeid coveted. As a result, Master Bardeid is one of the most influential and important Masters, with control over ensuring the regulation of all magic across the whole of Viseria, a task for which his curmudgeonly pedantry is perfectly suited.
