As a outsider entity to Evernight pantheon, the Outsider does not involve in divine domains. Nor does he encourage people to form a religion for him, although he his happy to listen to prayers to his name. Very rarely has he been seen granting divine powers to mortals. He is known to favor adventurers, musicians, actors and assassins over other people.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

The Outsider has been known to take countless shapes during his time in Evernight. However, by his own words, he prefers a shape of half-elf male.

Identifying Characteristics

For reasons unknown, the Outsider always appears to have lost his left eye, nevertheless his shape.

Special abilities

As a divine entity the Outsider posesses a great power a kin to those of other gods. Still he has rarely been seen using his powers as he usually mingles around common people using only sliver of his powers when needed.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

No one knows who the Outsider is or where he comes from. Even the highgods are not certain from this. He was not there in the Time of Creation as Daylord, Nightlady and the Sleeper made the world, nor is he one of those who were created by the highgods. From the very beginning he has travelled lands of Evernight in mortal form, appearing randomly around the world. There has also been long periods of time when no remarks of his presence has been noted, although he is known to take many shapes and only rarely to reveal his true identity to anyone.

The motivations of the Outsider are not known to mortals nor other dieties. Usually in his mortal form Outsider is known to collect stories around the world and to tell them to anyone willing to listen.
