Personal history

Kalakchias Marakos was born in Harigas. His father was a low-ranking officer in the army and was assigned mostly far away from the city and his mother worked at weavery. The family was poor and Kalakchias met his father only few times a year. At the age of twelve Kalakchias begun to aid her mother in weavery to help the family rise the funds.
Kalakchias's father was slain in the uprising of year 956 of 12th Millenia, and very soon after that Kalakchias and her mother moved away from city to live with his mothers family in Merian. In Merian Kalakchias took great interest in learning about the multiverse and it's secrets, and at the age of 18 he enrolled to Shadowflare academy to learn the mysteries of magic.
However, his time in Shadowflare academy was very short. After only half a year in the prestidigious academy, Kalakchias found out that his interests lay elsewhere. Kalakchias thought that magic alone could not satisfy his thirst of understanding nor could it be the ultimate answer. Thats when he joined the Church of Fatemaster Daianai and begun his training as a acolyte. Kalakchias studied with the oracles of Fatemaster for three years, but after that he still felt that it was not enough. He left the clergy in good terms and begun traveling around the world in hope of finding his answers.
After five years of travelling he finally found what he was looking for in the form of a travelling priest of Daylord. The two felt companionship and the priest tought Kalakchias the ways of the highgod. In these answers and methods Kalakchias finally found satisfaction for his soul, and was contempt.
After that Kalakchias has been faithful servant to Daylord. His wisdom and intelligence were quickly noticed by the clergy, and he rose in their ranks quite quickly. When the Dawnwatcher Tavathoi Galandrea passed away in year 974 of 12th Millenia, a halo of light descended to Kalakchias naming him the next Dawnwatcher and High Priest of Daylord.
Even after this Kalakchias has continued to travel the world. Unlike other Dawnwatchers of the past, he has not stayed in the Temple of the Sun in Isles of Dawn, but wanders with his pupils teaching the good will of Daylord to everyone.

Education

Kalakchias is highly educated. He received basic education in Harigas and continued his studies in Merian. For a short time he was a pupil in Shadowflare academy, the most prestidigious of worlds wizard academies, and after that he has studied with priests of Fatemaster Daianai and clergy of Daylord.

Employment

In his youth Kalakchias worked in the weavery in Harigas with his mother, and later he has been employed by clergy of Fatemaster and Daylord. From year 974 of 12th Millenia on he has been the Dawnwatcher, the High Priest of Lyraki Daylord
