Personal history
Alidar Strongtooth was born in a secluded orc clan in Isles of Dawn. His father was a trader visiting the area, while his mother was a daughter of the chief of the clan. After his birth he was kept away from his father who was banished from the tribe after the truth was discovered.
In his youth Alidar was tought the ways of the clan, the primal survival and ferociousness. However being only a half orc compared to his full orc bretheren, he never got any respect of the clan, and all the clan members, his mother included, shunned him for his heritage.
When Alidar was seven years old, a new trading ship arrived to the clan to make trade. Alidar watched the ship intrigued and full of curiosity, when one of the merchants came to him and whispered, that Alidar's father had asked him to come and take his son with him if this wanted to leave. Young Alidar agreed to this question, and during the night he slipped away from his home and went to the merchants. Together they sailed away from the island.
The merchants were true to their word and delivered Alidar to his father. With his father Alidar traveled around the known world, visiting Marghuin, Virghan, and many islands of Isles of Dawn. They however never returned to the orc clan. While traveling Alidar became fascinated about the world of Evernight, all the secrets, the histories and nature.
His father wanted Alidar to take up his trade after him, but very soon Alidar discovered, that being a merchant was not his destiny. He loved his time travelling with his father, but he had a heart of a scholar. So, at the age of sixteen he enlisted in one of the academies of Sundair in hopes to learn everything there was to learn. In the end his father also supported this choice.
After that Alidar has spent his life as a scholar and a sage of many things. Never has he seeked deeper secrets of the magic or the divine powers, but otherwise his knowlegde is unrivaled by any in Evernight. He has made research in the fields of history, science, politics and business to name few, and many scholars call him to aid them in their research. He is also one of the founding members of the Wonders of Evernight Symposium and Seekers of Understanding.
Education
In his youth Alidar was tought by his father, and later he attended several of well known academis in the world.
Employment
After his graduation Alidar worked as a researcher in Sundair Academy of Scholars. In his later years he has acted as a independant researher as well as professor invarious academies in Sundair, Harigas and Merian.
