Winged Furies

The Winged Furies are a division of the Confederate Aeronautical Forces that exclusively use pterosaurs as mounts. While the flying beasts are worse flyers than some other preferred aerial mounts, the sheer size and combat ability of the dinosaurs has made the Winged Furies infamous to the Confederacy's enemies. 
The Furies are well known for being inclusive to all members of the Confederacy. It is not uncommon for four-person flight crews to be made up of Langites, Embereki, and Braithstrom. 
Pterosaurs used range in size from single-passenger to four-passenger.

Aeronauts on single-passenger beasts favor the bow, while most multiple-crew beasts will have a dedicated pilot, archer, and two spearwomen.
