The Yklikya

The soldiers of the Yklikya are the best and brightest magicians and mechanics in all Ter Eira. Commonly referred to as "The Cabal" by other Gwelin, the organization has the freedom to operate in complete secrecy, only answerable to the Queen and her Chief Magister. Dark rumors circulate about them, going so far as parents warning their children that if they misbehave, the Yklikya witches will take them away.
Officially, the Yklikya's goals are to utilize any extraordinary forces necessary to defend Ter Eira. To this end, they indulge in necromancy, dark pacts, banned technology, and especially dangerous plans that would land any other Gwelin in prison. Their most successful project is an army of Necrotroopers, perhaps the most well-kept secret in all Ter Eira. Yklikya necromancers are often deployed behind enemy lines with battalions of the creatures and fade into the night once victory is assured. 
The most important function of the Yklikya in the modern age is espionage and counterspying. Many shadow wars have been fought on Ter Eiran soil between the Cabal and factions like Ghost Battalion or the Thousand Blades.
