The Staff of the Pantheon

The Staff of the Pantheon is a mystic Artifact of Skaldor of extreme religious significance. It is carved of fifteen different woods, inset with fifteen gemstones, and has the sacred names of each of the Fifteen Gods set within each of it's fifteen sections. The head of the staff is a crystal orb that mimics the dominant moon, and the braces holding the orb in place change depending on the dominant god. For instance, when Attinae is in power the braces are skeletal fingers, flowering branches for Lelia, antlers for Vadaszat, etc. The Staff seems to update itself to match the current Pantheon. 
Crafted by Tai the Winged, the first Aasimar of Skaldoran blood, this staff has the power to bring the dead back to life and heal the living, and great cost to the user to ensure their goodness and humility. Using the Staff to bring back the fallen takes years off the life of those who would bear it. Using it to heal temporarily severs the connection between a priest and his god or a wizard from her magic. 
This Artifact, above all others, is sought out by all factions especially those of a religious persuasion. It has not surfaced since the end of the Sylvan War.
