The Common Tongue of Civilized Folk

The Common Tongue of Civilized Folk is a constructed language often referred to as simply Common. It was created as part of the original council that led to the signing of The Guilded Truce. Common is the official language of trade and diplomacy, and has been in widespread use for so long that many mortals speak it as their primary language. It sees the most day to day use in The Empire, as many cities within Evermore have extremely mixed populations.
