Steel-Winch Scorpion

The steel-winch scorpion is an oversized crossbow made of steel that fires steel bolts five feet long. It is large enough to need to be welded into a weighted firing platform, as the kickback would otherwise launch the entire device backwards. It takes a crew of five to load and fire the weapon, which takes a long time to reload. As such, these weapons are almost always loaded. There is little risk of accidental fire, as the firing mechanism is a heavy lever that takes at least two strong soldiers to move.
