Gorentel

The Gorentel are Halflings originating in Dark Isle, though large populations can be found well outside of The Bloodrealms. Gorentel are often described as "unsettling" by outsiders, even other Halflings, as their skin resembles porcelain and when standing still the Gorentel resemble dolls. Since the Sevenstones War, like most Halflings, they have been scattered across the continent, opting to join existing Halfling communities as individuals rather than attempting to resettle as a people.

Naming Traditions

Family names

The Gorentel do not use surnames. For census purposes and other recordkeeping, they will simply write their given name twice, or their father's name followed by their own name followed by their eldest child's name if applicable.
