Goblin
Goblins are small creatures, typically some shade of green in skin, and always have tapered ears. Beyond this, there are numerous subspecies of Goblin that are all wildly different in appearance and behavior from the others. All Goblin varieties share a short lifespan, but develop rapidly and tend to have large litters of goblin cubs over single births favored by the larger species. Until recently, Goblins were widely considered to be monsters or pests by most nations of Illiria, and still struggle with the prejudice of centuries as they integrate into Imperial society.
