Beautiful Storm

The Beautiful Storm is the flagship of the Reaver's Republic and the only known fully submersible warship in existence. Captained by the Beggar Queen herself, the Storm is capable of covering itself in a canvas-like waterproof material that protects the crew and ship from water and holds a few hour's worth of air. The ship has a reputation for hunting Imperial warships, and the Empire is unaware of the true secret weapon of the submersible: sonic locator technology and arcane cannons modified for underwater combat. 
The ship carries full sails and spends most of it's time above water. A decorative fish-tail device is located in the back of the ship, which propels it by moving side to side while underwater. When submerged, the ship's crew can manipulate fin-like canvas protrusions to catch currents and pull the ship along faster.

Power Generation

A network of Salt Batteries in the engine room power the ship's fish tail and retractable hull.

Propulsion

Above water, the ship is pulled by sails. Below, it utilizes it's fish tail to swim, aided by catching currents with retractable fins.

Weapons & Armament

The Storm is equipped with four Iceborne Torpedo Launchers on either side, facing the bow, as well as an alchemist's fire launcher at the stern.

Communication Tools & Systems

The Beautiful Storm carries a full chest of signal flares for sending messages to other pirates.

Sensors

The ship's command room contains a sonic locator, a device that mimics a dolphin's sonar. Operators hit a button to send out a sonic pulse, and the sound reflected back into the command room tells the crew the general size and location of nearby objects. The sonar crew of the ship is well versed in 'what a ship sounds like'.
