Origins

Heart Magic is the magic of life and emotion. It comes from belief, and feeling. It represents the effects of thought and perception upon the universe. It is the magic of life and unlike. It is fueled by empathy and altruism in equal measure with hatred and the purest of rages. Heart magic is passion incarnate, projected onto reality, and bent back to be used by the thinking beings that bring it into existence.

Rules and Properties

Heart Magic works based on how it is thought of. Defining it with wildly excepted rules makes those rules effect it. This use of definitions, rules and properties is arcane casters access its wellspring. They impose order upon the power in order to release it. Divine casters ether use a conceptual entity (such as a celestial) as an intermediary, or else focus the power through life itself. Clerics draw heart magics through deities, while druids draw it from the natural world. Monks harness the heart magic inherent within themselves to effect the world around them.

Occurrences

Heart Magic is used to create many spells and enchantments. It is also the origin of many magical creatures, including some like dragons and elementals whose very being is infused with heart magic. It is often used for good and often for ill. It can heal and it can harm. It can burn or quench. It can revive the dead and dying, just as readily as it can chain their spirits or corpses into undeath.
