Characterized by there abnormally tall height, the Hornbreaker Dwarves might be mistaken for a human from a distance. There skin is pale and is remarkably resistance to cold environments. They must return before daybreak on the first day of Caelium with the horn of a northern mountain goat—creating the name “Hornbreaker”. This signifies the child’s ability to survive on their own and right to be welcomed as a adult in the community. Those who fail must wait until the next year and suffer the shame of still being considered a child.
