CRIME SYNDICATES:

The Sewer Rats-- Founded by Rennyn Lightsliver, the Sewer Rats is a group of rogues devoted to taking from the rich and giving to the poor. They act on a strict moral code and believe justice truly belongs with them.

The Alley Snakes-- Founded by Felkas Pebblecase, the Alley Snakes is a group made up of those who steal to survive and nothing more. They camp in the alleys and rarely strike, but when they do they succeed.

The Brick Wolves-- Founded by Aymer Heletris, the Brick Wolves is a group rejects the ideology of the Sewer Rats. Aymer once was a Sewer Rat until he deserted with a small grou of likeminded individuals to create a separate organization. The Brick Wolves steal with the hopes that one day they will be able to take revenge on those who wronged them. They do not believe in equality and only those who are willing to shed blood are allowed into the ranks.

DESPCRIPTION

Found in the south of the frozen tundra and looming high above the massive Lake of the Four, Fridaria is the prosperous capitol of The Republic of Nivias. Home to apporximately 100,000, Fridaria is a bustling haven for many. It is also known for its tighly packed streets and many public markets (where travelling salesmen are able to set up shop). The city has, for decades, been overrun by refugees from The Eternal Storm, causing the streets and alleys to be filled with homeless citizen struggling to survive. There is a palpable animosity between the nobles and peasants due to the harsh conditions of peasant life, the lack of influence of the lower class, and the blind eye the nobles turn to those who are less fortunate. The upper class is primarily made up of the council, the clergy, and the wealthy families. This has also led to the creation of several crime syndicates* who act on these tensions attempting to create equality or tear down and stand on those who loom above. The city is also know for its heavy trading with The Orebrand Dwarves.
