the coup of the prince

The Conflict

Prelude

after his father tsar kirilven 1st died prince Michael ascended the throne. a council of regents ruled in his place while the 18 year old prince came of age. regiments
 on the eve of the coup, he got the royal Cossack guards which he had served with to enter the city and he waited to give them the order to attack the regents

The Engagement

Day 1 
taking the city-at night the 3000 Cossack guard started attack the regents homes in the city with Michael at there head. the regents troops were unable to beat back the wave of of mounted troops. loyal police officers made sure people stayed in there homes. Michael took 20 men and went to regents hall a government building where the council of regents resided. they were panicing and when the Cossack guards burst in Michael ordered them out and had his Cossack take them to the hall of glass in the trasit palace.
across the tsardoms- across the empire regiments where being disarmed  by units loyal to the young tsar. the tsars uncle brought 10000 men of the boarder lands corp and captured troops loyal to the regents. when esteli regiments loyal to the tsar there thrown the tsar troops out and then march to pressure the tsarist troops. 
Day 2
Michael gathered the regents in front of him. he wore his tsaravich circlet and wore his best dress outfit. the regents stood in silence for an hour until it was broken by Michael him self. he said 'my father was weak and useless and let you all manipulate him i will not be that fool today you die, my lords' then the Cossack guards shot all 10 in the back of the head.
the coup continued as 300 internal security troops and 4000 men of the 5th corp attempted to lay siege to the capital. however when they heard about the fact there leaders were dead they lay down there arms and the coup ended.

Outcome

3000 people were tried as traitors to the new tsar. 2000 were executed. regent loyalist in the army were also killed. an entire regiment was tried and half were killed everyone know knew the tsar was in charge.
