Early life
Jemtogg was born in Hamburg to Tod Togg and Marissa Togg. Jemtogg was the eldest of two sons. Wolfram and Jemtogg lost their mother when they were very young. She suddenly vanished one day after a terrible storm and was never seen again. His father was a trader and they lived a comfortable life. They never asked for too much and they didn’t struggle the same as a lot of the people in hamburg. After their mother left Jemtogg started experiencing strange phenomena. He started being able to conjure and summon small creatures and as Jemtogg summoned more and more his experience with this skill grew. His father eventually found out about his new found powers and was very upset. Him being a devout catholic hated my kind of magic. As it was deemed not pure or holy and he would shun his son. The only one Jemtogg had left was Wolfram.
When Jemtogg was around 10 years old he was kidnapped from the woods in which he would often practiced his magic. Jemtogg was taken by his local church and deemed a heretic and was kept in their prison for days. it was the worst thing he had ever had to endure, and made worse with his father refusing to help him or come to his rescue. While in their prison Jemtogg was told his mother was not a native of Hamburg and her place of origin was a mystery and she may be the reason that Jemtogg has this magical ability. After a week of starvation Wolfram finally came to his brothers rescue. He was able to successfully get him out of his prison and take me back home where Jemtogg was kept in secret in their house. His father knew jemtogg was in the house, but to this day Jemtogg is surprised he was never ratted out or turned in.
Later life
Jemtogg lived this life of seclusion for 5 years until one fateful day his father busted into the basement where Jemtogg was hiding with a woman next to him. She was like nothing Jemtogg had ever seen. His father told him that she was going to take him away to live with her. Her name was Neda Kitlar and she was a drow elf. She seemed to look at Jemtagg with pity for the state he was in and as she reached her hand out to him. Jemtogg hesitated to leave his family and give himself to this strange woman. But Jemtogg had to nonetheless. His father had lost a bet with her and his hatred for his son boiled over as what he lost in that bet was his eldest son, Jemtog. She took him away and over the years she helped him grow to who he is today.
She taught him how to manifest my powers with more control. She didn’t see them as the devil’s work. She saw them and him as a gift and it was the first time since his mother left that Jemtogg felt safe with someone. Over the years she taught him how to steal, how to fight with my new eidolon and how to protect himself. Around the time Jemtogg was 20 years old he got wind of a very valuable item that was inside a military base. In the commander's room. Jemtogg wanted to test myself without Neda and see how far he’d come. He managed to get the item, and after Jemtogg had gotten away with his prize in tow he had a moment to reflect on how he felt, that being amazing. The thrill of sneaking around without being seen. In and out before anyone even knew he was there. Gave him a rush and Jemtogg began to see why Neda did what she did. Makes you feel alive. As Jemtogg continued to travel and grow with Neda she became his new family. Her, his mother, and Wolfram were the only ones who had ever seen what Jemtogg truly was, and didnt want to lock him away but help him grow.
