The Greasy Wheel Tavern

Purpose / Function

Positioned along The Verassian River on the outskirts of town, the Greasy Wheel tavern provides lodging to travelers passing through Wildermore, or those that are in town for an extended stay. The tavern also offers discounts to those contracted by The Order Alchimia or Crowstone Caravans. It is also a gathering spot for some of the seedier characters in Wildermore. The tavern is usually busiest on weekends, although, it is considerably less busy than The Half-Moon Inn, its main competitor. The Greasy Wheel is considered to be the "seedier" of the two locations.

Architecture

The Greasy Wheel tavern is an old watermill, converted into a tavern. The three story building features a dining area and tavern on the first level, while the second and third floors contain various rooms for patrons of the establishment. There is also a small cellar that is used for storage.

History

The tavern was built by Cricket roughly fifteen years ago. A sharp increase in adventurers in town created a high demand for temporary lodging.
