Wallace Gellen (a.k.a. The Boar)

Head of the Gellen family, one of the traditionally conservative houses in Alldris. Big and boisterous, as his nickname implies.

Not a stranger to playing dirty, he will lie and cheat for gold and power. Never was this more evident than when he and Elize Kindling, when their ships among others returned to Alldris with a shipload of gold from the New World, which The Boar and Elize immediately kept the lions share of by hiding a substantial part away before splitting it with the others.

This came back to bite him, it would turn out, when Elize used it to blackmail him into voting for Mari de Luna in the election for Prince-Mayor, after he found himself with the final and decisive vote.
