Silkenclay

Silkenclay is clay-like substance that magically seals together during construction of buildings, sculptors, and more. A structures built using silkenclay keeps the inside temperature at a comfortable level all year round. It never gets dirty and seems to have a continuous cleaning spelling on it repealing dirt. The white silkenclay is always pristine having the appearance it is brand-new.
Silkenclay comes in three different colors are are found throughout Stellify. Jasper red and bloodstone are found in the Oxtorra Peaks whereas the white silkenclay is found in the snowy mountains of Frozen Pristine Mountains in the north.
The excavation of silkenclay is a difficult process that requires precision and careful planning as silkenclay morphs when excavated sometimes into more of a liquid and sometimes it will stay in its silky elastic state. One of the most interesting things about silkenclay is that your intent really plays into what it does. If you have the intent of harm then it will not do as requested and may harm the creatures instead. If you are looking to excavate it with the intent to build a structure then it will mostly listen and not magically seal together until it has been requested to. Silkenclay also does not like when one area has been disturbed too much; the entire area will turn into a liquid state washing away all the equipment, creatures, and anything else in its path.

History & Usage

Everyday use

Structures, mainly higher classes homes, stores, and important buildings.

Reusability & Recycling

When a structure is torn down the pieces are melted down to make plates, cups, bowls, and the like.
