Kamdohr Specialty Farmer grows many different types of flora. Some of the more unique and well producing goods have been Crinell, Cinder Vanilla, Cureroot, Reaper Barbs, Rumplespun, and Zurkhwood.
Most farmers are only chosen for one year and others have been selected for multiple years in a row though no one has outlasted Malarlun Thunderbranch the closest farmer won the right 60 years in a row.

Career

Qualifications

Farmers who wish to undertake this profession must be picked by the Priests of Moradin. Every 3rd Sproutsday of Alturiak all potentail farmers must visit Temple of the All-Father and provide the head priest with their plan for specialty farming. The only required qualifications is being an adult.

Payment & Reimbursement

All of the goods are either sold in Kamdohr or are shipped to other countries. The goods are sold at a very high price.

Other Benefits

Being a Specialty Farmer bumps you up into the elite population. Gifts are plentiful.

History

The very first Specialty Farmer Malarlun Thunderbranch happened as an accident. In the early morning a Sound-Targeted Lightning storm came through Kamdohr the year Malarlun became an adult in 103 Tarsakh- The Claw of Storms. He was out working on his farm when one of the lightning strikes hit the freshly planted root vegetable; thinking nothing of it he continued on working as normal as nothing seemed amiss. As the seedlings started to sprout Malarlun noticed the plant that was hit my the lightning strike had golden leaves instead of the green ones as expected. At harvest time, about two months later, Malarlun harvested his crop including the goldened leaf plant. The only noticeable difference was the golden leaves. Deciding he would try it he felt different he was no longer sick from is poisonings. This is how Cureroot was created.
