Sjalsvard
Sjalsvard is the god of death and punishment and one of the Firsts of the Nether. They are a being created from the souls of the damned, the embodiment of thanatophobia and what all mortals fear as they think of their fleeting time in the mortal realm.
Sjalsvard is responsible for the creation of the Wither and Wither Skeletons, and they zombified many of the piglins that Evidansa created. They, with the help of Evidansa, created the phantoms to torment the living, reminding them that in due time, they will join them in the depths of the Nether.
Sjalsvard will do anything within their power to cause mortals to suffer, and the souls that find their way into their domain are tortured for the rest of eternity, often becoming a part of Sjalsvard in time. However, they are concerned with maintaining balance between life and death, and though they despise their sister Evidansa, they understand that the both of them are necessary to maintain balance between the realms.
Appearance
Sjalsvard lacks a humanoid form, being an amalgamation of eyes, mouths, ears, and a multitude of limbs that belong to both humans and creatures, all haphazardly placed at different places that would normally be anatomically incorrect. At the center of their body, there is a collection of souls, similar to those found in soul sand.

History
Sjalsvard and Evidansa were created less than 100 cycles apart from each other by the Guardian. Since their creation, they have been in a constant tug of war -- a dance -- in which they constantly struggle for power while keeping the delicate balance between life and death.
