Cursed Cauldron

The Cursed Cauldron is an ancient artifact created in the Shadow Era. Its original purpose is long forgotten, what remains are the stories surrounding the Cauldron’s magical abilities.
According to legends, a single recipe can be used only directly above a Soul Energy vein. The rewards are great, for you get the infamous Soul Elixir, condensed energy for the most powerful of spells.
But those who dare using the Cauldron for anything else will swiftly learn why it became to be known as Cursed. Over centuries, many a quack and would-be magician conducted experiments to unlock the Cauldron’s secrets. Suffice it to say, no one ever survived misusing the Cauldron.
The last time anyone used the Cauldron, the disaster was so grand it tore apart the whole village of Mylendale. There and then the Cauldron vanished without leaving any trace. But legends have it, somewhere in Crystalmore there might be a lead…
