Candle Rolling
Candle rolling is alongside candle drawing the oldest candle-making method that is used especially in more rural regions since the faster candle-making method candle casting was invented. To use this method wax sheets, a bendable candle wick made from plant fiber or textile as well as some kind of wooden nails to fix the end of the wax sheet in place is mandatory.
Manufacturing

- Immerse the wick in molten wax and hang it from a cooling rack until it is completely cooled down.
- Warm the sheets to prevent breaking in the rolling process.
- Roll the sheet tightly around the waxed wick until the candle has reached the desired thickness.
- Cut the remainder of the wax sheet and fix the end to the candle with a wooden nail.
