The main difference here being they were slaves being experimented upon by a long-forgotten superior race. When a great cataclysm doomed their homeland, freedom became a possibility though few survived. They had lost many of the hallmarks of civilization until the Olympian deities began their plans to transplant their Human worshipers. It is as yet unknown if the Cecropoi were physically transformed by the Gods at this time, or if their appearance is purely happenstance.
