Worldember 2021 Pledge

I pledge to write 10k+ words in the month of December for the Worldember Challenge

Goals

for World Ember. I came really, really close to this last year and I want to fully accomplish it this year.


30,000 words for Estia. I will be starting up my campaign again in the new year, and have had some great inspiration on how to take it to the next level. This will require some dedication and planning, but I think I can do it.


50,000 words for the stretch. This will be my stretch goal, and I think it is attainable especially with time off from work around the holidays. If I can hit this, I'll be really pleased!

Plan

My campaign is restarting after the new year, which is perfect motivation to really lean into the world building in December. We are going to be starting a new thread of the campaign in Estia, and I have a ton of inspiration rattling around in my head for this new thread, so this will be the main area I'm focused on.


Koljorn will be the main focus, building out history, locations, lore, characters and more for the upcoming campaign.


Prompts will be another tool I'll use, especially if I get stuck. Again being the focus in Koljorn for answers to the prompts.


Estia will be my secondary/back up focus, building out the nations and political histories and lore for all the nations in Estia. This is something I've neglected to do in the past, but I will no longer do so.
