Faelotha

Faelotha is an old and deeply disturbing cultist organization. Started during the Illimyrian Dynasty by a human man known only as Toll. The organization has deeply racist roots, hating any elf or related kind the organization. Some say this is a result of the elves own arrogance and exclusion while others look to the past and the history that existed when the organization first came into being to explain it away. However what remains more unique is that the organization has lasted for well over a thousand years and seems to be still gaining traction.

Faelotha comes from the elvish and was intended to be a threat to anyone who could understand the language, literally meaning "Fae Loather".

Criminal Aspect

Faelotha see the Fae as a blight on the world. They live very long lives, have questionable moralities and think of themselves as superior. For these reasons among others, Faelotha wish to see the Fae wiped out or stricken from Estia. As such there are lesser-extreme offshoots that simply seek to relocate the Fae to where they believe the Fae's plane of origin is. However not all the organization is so kind, and so the Faelotha have been associated with a variety of crimes ranging from vandalism and theft to bold assissinations and massacres. Associating with the organization is outlawed in most territories across Estia with a few exceptions in the north. Association with the Faelotha in Elven territories is akin to a death sentence, further fueling the bitterness on both sides of the conflict.

Cultural Aspect

While not being particularly loved by the non-fae races of Estia, the Faelotha do serve a purpose of shining the light on the flaws of Elves especially in higher up places. Less extreme offshoots typically go by a different name and those who adhere to the laws of the lands are seen in a positive light as critics despite the undercurrent racist nature of the organizations.
