Dragon Throne

Known by many names, the Dragon Throne is a strange, unnatural place. A series of beheaded mountains circle one another, rising out of flat tundra forming a sort of skyline. Caves dot the sides of these structures, but not one is at ground level. Stories and histories speak of Dragon Throne as an ancient meetingplace of dragons. If these histories are true, today it an empty and haunting shell of its former purpose. Natives consider the location to be cursed, and all who go there must be cleansed before they may step foot within a village or else risk bringing doom to the people there.
Still, some adventurers remain undeterred. Fueled by rumors of many unattended dragon lairs with loot simply waiting to be rediscovered drive souls to Dragon Throne. Many do not return, but those who do report that they found themselves too hopeless to enter the lairs so far above the ground, and fearful of the echoes of something horrific that may have happened there.
