Tuatha (TWAH-thah)

To the east of Estemor, separated by a vast mountain range known as the Warden Peaks, lies the realm where Wild Elves hail from. Few from Estemor have ever ventured across the Peaks and returned. Fewer still have documented their affairs in this alien land.
Contrary to popular belief, Tuatha is not actually connected to Estemor by land. The Warden Peaks simply lead to coastal cliffs. A vast network of underground caverns connect the two realms, the trek through them likely just as dangerous as the Peaks, if not more. While some Elf tribes had managed to reach Estemor by way of the Shifting Sea during the Invasion of The Eagle & Spider, this method is no longer possible due to Null Space. The tribes that pass from Tuatha to Estemor must traverse the underground in order to reach the Warden Peaks, which eventually lead to the Highlands of Karelia.
Maps of Tuatha don't seem to exist as many elves adhere to oral traditions. But it is understood that much of the western portions of Tuatha are harsh, semi-arid plains and deserts. The few humans who returned form such places refer to them as "Badlands". Wild Elves have migrated across the Badlands for generations, keeping track of areas that are comparably safe. Without an experienced guide, any expedition would swiftly fail. Despite the nomadic lifestyle that most tribes adhere to, there are some accounts of vast, permanent settlements known as "Glades". The entrances tend to be tucked away within patches of woodlands or mountains and the societies that reside within are truly an enigma to outsiders.
