Amantia

A guide to Amantia

Amanatia is a shard mostly inhabited by Humans and the feline Race of the Pazan and is the north part of the western continent. A few elven settlements and different towns of different races are spread over the huge landscape. Divided into the inhabited and wild places, this shard fights the mutation effects of the Fallen-Essences.

Geography

The Continent is surrounded by the Cold-Ocean to the North and the Deep-Sea to the East. The Islands of Megaria lie to the West and are often seen as a part of Amantia. To the South Uriam takes its place and to the Southwest the Shard of the Dwarfs - Baktur - can be found.

Fauna & Flora

The Flora and Fauna is really diverse, due to the different ranges of climate.
To the North the cold and deep forests have long winters and short summers. The Flora and Fauna adapted to survive the harsh conditions.
In the midst of the continent cold winters and warm and dry summers make it a quite nice place to live in, so here you can find the biggest differences in animals and monsters.
In the South the mediterranean climate gives home to many animals and plants that only survive in warmer conditions.

Natural Resources

Large woods, mineral rich mountain ranges and wide plains of farmland make Amantia one of the richest continents in all of Wym. Most of the areas to harvest these resources are locked away by the wild reaches, the places that have been changed by the Fallen-Essences so much, that it is too dangerous for people to easily venture into there.
