Order of Iegaglar
The Order of Iegaglar is a religious order founded some centuries ago by Elanil Iegaglar. Its goal is to bring back the gods to the world to save it from extinction. Most of their operations in the present day rely on antagonizing mages, as they believe arcane knowledge is partly responsible for the Gods abandonment.
Structure
- Archipresul - religious leader of the order.
- Hierarcha - administrators of all churches of a region.
- Praeminister - assistants to the Hierarcha generally help manage smaller portions of the same region.
- Praefator - head of a single church.
- Mysta - assistants to the Praefator they help manage the upkeep of the temples and are often in charge of its protection.
Culture
The Gaglarian Order is a very rigid organization. It takes its members' discipline very seriously as it sees them as the frontline fighters of an existential war. They can be very resistant to change and defensive against strangers. In recent years the Order has become increasingly secretive and fanatical.

History
The Order came into existence some centuries after the Sorgardagur when the world was well into the Dauðaaldur. In the new age of religious upheaval, many small cults were formed as the different peoples of Tog Darahl wrestled with their new reality. Everyone who felt the gods' abandonment grasped for a way to explain what had happened. Among them was Elanil Iegaglar, who brought all those errant groups together and gave them a single purpose. To bring the Gods back into the world and punish those responsible for their disappearance. Not much is known about Elanil outside of the Order; the records say they were a High Elf well-versed in religious and arcane studies, but any attempts to dig deeper into their life are forbidden for those outside the order.
Cosmological Views
The Order believes that the Old Gods created and maintained the world. When the gods left the world, it started a period of decay that will end with the extinction of all life unless something is done to correct it.

Ethics
To the Order, most modern magic is an abomination which they believe is what lead to the abandonment of the gods. Therefore, a big part of the Order's work is fighting against the political power of those that continue to develop the arcane arts. A member caught studying forbidden magic is subjected to harsh punishments.
Granted Divine Powers
The Order members do not seek out any single source of divine knowledge and power. Instead, the Order has a vast collection of ancient rituals and secrets that they believe were used back in Töfraöld. Only a select few are taught these secrets. Those that do are part of the Venandi, a military wing of the Order that undertakes special missions.
Political Influence & Intrigue
The Order's political power has grown significantly during the time of the Darahlian Empire. They have spent most of their time in a political war with the Arcanum to become the Emperor's most trusted advisors.
