Vesus - The Wolf of B Street

The Wolf of B-Street in Nattan Mal is a local legend of the Goblin community. Though many are not sure it still exists (if it ever did) the legend refers to a large pack of wolves that had ventured north from Wolfden during a drought. As both crops and wildlife in the area were hit hard by the drought the pack of wolves began to turn on each other until there was only one left. With all other food options exhausted, the wolf began hunting the Goblins of Nattan Mal.
Caravans were attacked, farmers ambushed in their fields, in total 73 individuals were lost or missing due to wolf attacks over one year. As the few bodies that were recovered were left uneaten it was believed that at some point, the wolf, given the name Vesus (old Goblin for Demon) had begun hunting not for sustenance but for sport.
Though many have claimed an encounter with Vesus, there have been no confirmed sightings of Vesus for many years. Although caravans are frequently ambushed in the region the disappearance of one is usually credited to Vesus.
