The Old World Ruins / The Ivory Keep

The ruins found in Evergreen Deep's Central Mountain Chain is believed to be the oldest standing structure in Espen. It's stones predate any known civilization; and if Tabaxi records are to be believed, the Ivory Keep was discovered buried amongst the jungle in Mi'Jithal Valley. Worshiping the symbols and the structure itself as revered hold lands, the pervasive belief in Tabaxi culture is that the Old Gods ensured the Keep remained to protect the Tabaxi people and ensure their place in the world.   As such most Tabaxi reject the New Gods in the belief that when the Old Gods return they will be exalted and held first among all races. Though the Keep is currently in disrepair, there is great debate if the Tabaxi People should spend their resources to restore The Ivory Keep to what they believe to be its former glory.   In the wing of the ruins that still remain, are the Halls of the Old World Artificers (OWA). A guild of merchants, blacksmiths, and artificers who deal in one thing. Everore.   The rare substance that gives magical items their power. Few know the intentions of the OWA with regards to their hoarding of Everore, but the substance is always in high demand and Tabaxi have been known to pay top dollar for rarer magical items and hoard the same with increasing frequency. The Ivory Keep officially has no aspect of commerce related to it. However, the Irony Keep is rumored to have an extensive collection of rare and powerful weapons and magical artifacts.  Few people can confirm this to be true as the only individuals allowed into the Keep's Reliquary are the highest-ranking Tabaxi Officials.
