The Old World Artifacers started as the world's first parchmenteers and they documented the majority of the significant happenings in Espen until the opening of the Grand Library in Sprtizlewerks. After their time as parchmenteers ended their role as artificers began, using magic from old texts discovered in a small town named Pra'Shad the Tabaxi plundered the most useful magical texts and began forging and imbuing weapons with great strength and reliability at a rate commensurate with the Dwarven output. Despite having a small role in intercultural politics the Tabaxi, and specifically, the Old World Artificers have done a fair amount of information brokering using their weapons as a bartering chip in order to secure things that seem insignificant. A few wells across Espen, an island off the northern coast, and a few other points of interest around the continent.
