Riverside Inn & Bakery

History:

Locals made it a habit of traveling upstream for fishing in the Broadpeak River which made it the perfect spot for a bed and breakfast.  It quickly became a hit with the locals, every morning during the busy season there is a line outside the bakery.  The baked salmon puff pastries have won awards at HaBFab and brings in non-fishermen just for the savory treat.

Ownership:

Riverside is owned Kes Garns a skilled baker and his husband Jaccob Astren. The bakery gained notarity when he entered HaBFab on short notice. Most entrants spend the better part of a year prepping for the competition, Kes entered with only 5 days to prep and 3 of those were spent on the way to Twinnam. His entry became legendary, and that legend followed him back to River City. Jaccob hasn't handled the increase in fame or business well.
