Port Solo

History

The only port left standing after the The War of the 4 Priests Port Solo earned its reputation by being able to defend itself from marauder, raiders, and any other party that sought to take its sovereignty. Once affiliated with Everhold City Port Solo renounced its affiliations at the start of the War of the 4 Priests when the High Table of Everhold demanded its stores of grain and wheat in violation of its contractual obligations. The war set human cities at odds with one another, patron cities declaring the major cities, and it filtered all the way down to fledgling villages.   Refusing to declare for any city, or priest, Port Solo was declared a "wild territory" open to whomever could hold it. But to hold it, one would have to take it. No opposing force was able to take the city by land assault or ground assault. Though many tried, each was turned back, the last general who tried found his shield removed and posted at the front gates, along with his head. Though formally the city has no army its civilian militia is quite possibly the vest trained in Espen.   *- Note the city has a strict ban on alcohol and Kamala Root

Locations

The Diagus Docks is not for rogues, pickpockets, or miscreants of any ilk. The docks are manned by the 3rd Militia and the don't suffer fools readily. As standard practice smugglers are executed on site following a trial that cannot last longer that 2 hours.   3 Corners Trade Post is a salvage for old weapons and machines of war. Though their stockpile is high, the need to maintain their own secure city streets means that anything bought here will be at a premium.   The only housing in the city is the ramshackle warship known as Ironside (Inn). Though it has been decommissioned it still serves as a suitable barracks with the ability to hold 133 individuals.
