Livenroot

Botanist Findings:

Known for its sweet flavor and sticky exterior, Livenroot is commonly kept on adventurers to use as a snack and to increase focus in combat. Only ripe for harvest in the winter months, when properly harvested and preserved it can last up to a year but may lose some of it sweetness. Growing mostly in arid grasslands and requiring a substantial amount of digging and cleaning before consumption some villages have built industries around growing, clearning, and shipping this desired root.

Horticultural Findings:

Humanoids that ingest this root recieve a temporary boost to their metabolism, but those who consume it should be warned, this root can be addicative and lead to chronic fatigue. Many of the human hospitals see multiple cases of Livenroot Addiction through out the year, spiking around the Human high holidays. The detox peior can last a long up to three weeks depending on the most recent dosage used and the overall duration of Livenroot use. It is hypothesize that a serum made of Twisted Mint  and Infernal Peppercorn has the abilit to shorten the detox period it is thus far unconfirmed.
