Elder White Grapes

Botanist Findings:

Elder White Grapes grow in the low lying valleys around Tanalier, Ossirion, and DamesPort.  So named for the nearly five-year growth period before they can be harvested.  During the growth period, the grapes are a deep vibrant green, terribly bitter, and mildly toxic causing nausea if ingested before ripe. Previously, believed to only be able to grow in Elven territory, recent Kobold Dispatch articles have reported the fruit growing a far north as Nin.

Horticultural & Herbalism Findings:

Elder White Grapes have not responded well to domestication attempts, only master gardeners have been able to sustain a  vineyard of Elder White Grapes but due to their long maturation period none have been profitable, and nearly all have shuttered.  One particularly useful benefit is their curative properties when brewed into a mead or wine.  This would need to be done by a master brewer as Elder White Grapes are incredibly delicate and the mixing process is very precise. If done properly; the resultant Elder White Wine is believed to not only heal minor cuts and bruises but has antidotal properties.
