Clawful Lagoon

History:

The group most impacted by the Steamturn Armistice were the Tabaxi, the armistice required the dwarves to abandon a number of encampments across the bay leaving behind heavily fortified positions with sustainable infrastructure and no one to claim them. Combined with an already robust fishing community the area became known as Clawful Lagoon, a region primed for expansion and capable of doing so by taxing gnomish Everore from the south and Dwarven leatherworks from the north.
Today, the Clawful Lagoon is a thriving village on the Eastern coast of the Northern Mainland, supplying fresh fish to most of the Northern continent. A port mostly for products going to or from Evergreen deep, the customs house meticulously scans any items containing everore. Its assumed the Tabaxi take such care in this procedure because they are searching for something specific although Tabaxi leadership has never admitted as much.

Locations:

Phishy Bait and Supply handles a bulk of the deep sea fishing "off island." Their fleet includes 5 fishing vessels and 2 barges used for packing and processing. As there headquarters is a frigate docked in the bay it is the only known business in the world that is entirely sea fairing.
Iron Maiden Tavern & Inn uses all the stripped-down iron, copper, nickel, and aluminum that was left from processing everore to build the somewhat ramshackle inn. The tavern was added years later when the growing number of patrons facilitated the addition of sleeping quarters.
Clawful Port and Processing handles the sorting, organizing, and processing of everore artifacts. In addition to the processing, passenger vessels can be booked from this port.
Milling About is the town's mill and provides flour as one of the town's primary exports. Owned by the Seville family who have a number of farms around town.
