Beacon Hill

History:

Often considered the last vestige of civilization before the Salace Tundra, Beacon Hill serves two purposes.  The first if to keep pyre atop the hill alight so that travelers coming from the north can find Yitreal, they also serve as a medical unit treating acute instances of frostbite and tending minor wounds. The second is the last tradepost before the frigid and uncharted wastelands that lie ahead. Due to this fact traders have been known the charge exorbitant prices.

Management:

None.
As the Dwarves that tend the pyre do not engage in trade as a matter of practice. Thus trading at the post can be hit or miss.
