The Founders

At the dawn of the world, Interplanar beings of great power named Founders congregated to forge the Founder Stones, pouring much of their energy therein. It was with these tools that the Founders began to shape the plane according to their wills, creating the seas and the sky, the lowlands and the high, the flora and fauna, and the peoples to live and to die.
Erthwyr as the common folk understand it, is the central continent of a world created by the Founders When the founders yet walked this plane, two major factions emerged, or so it seemed to Erthwyr's primitive civilisations: The Deities, humble and virtuous - those founders who fostered the free will of mortal civilization and the Demongods, conceited and corrupt - self serving founders some of whom sought to subjugate
