The Order of the Trident

The Order of the Trident is a group of monks who have resided in the city of Crook Crag since it was the village of Lake Edge. They were considered the protectors of the lands and the people who lived there." The Trident unites us" is the motto of the order and their desire to unite people in harmony and goodness. The monks trained their bodies and mind to find unity in themselves and to train to protect those around them. Once the guilds began to gain power the monastery could not fight the tide and soon lost most of its power. The order diminished and they tried their best to still protect the people.
In recent years the Order has grown slightly to gain a few more people who are unhappy with the rule of the Guilds. The Order now has three branches that work together in unity. The Monks, The Rogues, and the Acane; three prongs of the trident.

Structure

Grandmaster Helmore leads the monks, there are only 5 monks in the order. While he works to protect the order from the outside threats he greatly defers to Luthra, his student to lead the other monks.
Turok was the first monk to realize that they may need to turn to rogue ways in order to defeat their enemies. The other rogues pay him heed but will only truly listen to Grandmaster Helmore. He trusts Turok to make the right decisions about how the other 3 rogues should operate.
A wizard and Temper from the Isle Of Mystrium have come to aid the group as well. They are hoping to find more spellcasters to aid them.

Culture

The order believes that everyone should unite for the betterment of the world. Working together and aiding one another is the most important tenets of the order. Turning away those in need goes against their core beliefs.
