When the bloodblade deals damage to an enemy it gains 1d6 temporary hit points. These hit points stack to a maximum of 20. Caillen’s Sight. Magical darkness doesn’t impede the bloodblade’s darkvision. Slayer. In the first round of a combat, the bloodblade has advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn’t taken a turn yet. If the bloodblade hits a creature that round who was surprised, the hit is automatically a critical hit.
