Temple of Healing
In the town of Sirather, which is known for the growing of medicinal plants, there is the Temple of Healing which is renowned for the Clerics that reside there. People come from all over the region to seek healing at the temple. Even the elves will occasionally make their way there, trusting in the healing prowess of those that call the temple home.
Purpose / Function
To provide healing and protection to those of the area.
There is also a hidden cave underneath it with a rare artifact, the Amulet of Crulach. The wards around the cavern provide protection from the evil of the amulet.
History
When the Spirit Crulach lived in the area he ruled it with an iron fist and tortured all those who called the area home. Once the Spirits fled to the Eternal Domain, Crulach's amulet was stolen from him so he placed a curse on it. The thief who stole it was struck a mortal wound. They slunk off and found a cave to hide in, hoping to recover from the wound. Then they died and the amulet remained hidden. Crulach's curse began to warp the area around the cave and when mortal settlers came to the area they stayed away from the cave. Clerics of the goodly Spirits banded together to seal the curse away and built a temple over it.
