Gida

Spirits of Stealing and jealousy. They often steal the belongings of others and covert magical items above all else.   "A small humanoid creature that seems to be hunched over with its clawed hands always wringing. Its face is sunken in like a skull and its eyes burn with a red fire."

Devil's Sight. Magical darkness doesn't impede the gida's darkvision.   Magic Resistance. The gida has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Actions

Multiattack. The gida makes 3 shadow dagger attacks and One Reaching Shadow attack.   Shadow Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) [necrotic] damage.   Shadow Dagger. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 20/60 ft., 1 target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) [necrotic] damage. Reaching Shadow (recharge 5 and 6). When the gida hits with a shadow dagger it can attempt to steal one of the items its target is carrying. This item can not weigh more than 5 pounds. If the creature is wearing or wielding the item it must make a strength saving throw DC 14. A perception check DC 15 will reveal an item is being taken if it was not taken from their grasp.  

Bonus Actions

  Darkness of the Abyss. The gida drops a globe of magical darkness that as a 20-foot radius that can not be seen through with darkvision and light can not penetrate. The gida can only have one of these active at a time.

Reactions

Shadow Seal. When the gida is hit with a melee attack by a creature within 5 ft of it it attempts to step on their shadow. The creature must succeed on a dexterity saving throw DC 14. On a failure, they are paralyzed until the end of their next turn.
