Sageas Abbey is home to the Children of illumination, a esoteric cult of arcana. Its founder was the great bardic loremaster Sageas who believed that knowledge was the key to all of creation, but that raw knowledge was corrupted by paradigms. He abhorred magical schools of initiation and occult elitism. Instead he favored making resources available to any interested party, and established the Great Library. Priests copy the tomes and process the works of the sanctum. Anyone is free to come and study within the bounds of the library. However no books or works can be removed without providing a tome of equal value, provided a copy is available. Only priests of Sagas are allowed to copy any work, even a page.
