Bit Durani (Bit Dur-on-e)

Bit Durani is the great walled city of Ukinnu, the pinnacle of progress and civilization advancement in Asmatum. as you approach the City you will see it's massive massive 200 foot tall 200 foot thick walls, each corner topped with a large Beziers containing the eternal flames of progress which are a deep green. Inside the walls is housed 50,000 people, people who look to the Asmatan people as the Hight of Eridu Evolution. The people here are inventors and previvors of science and alchemical progress expect to find all sort of experiments and contraptions here.

Demographics

Bit Durani is a melting pot of Asmatan people the exact percental make of of each race in the city is not something the local government has sought  to quantify.

Government

While there is a king of Bit Durani that doesn't necessarily mean succession is based on royal blood. Ruling family's can loose their status in two ways 
One is by failing there bi yearly performance review. Every two year citizens of Dit Dunari cast there vote on a variety of issues and how the king is handling them, If a majority vote he is failing his duties a second vote goes out for a grace period of improvement. If a grace period is voted for in majority the king has 1 year to correct issues and make changes to his performance. If they don't vote for a grace period or he fails his grace period a election for a new king is held.

the Infrastructure of Bit Dunari is vast. they have made huge advancements in sanitations having the most advanced sewer system in all of asmatum. they are also the most fortified having to grow their architecture to a point where their walls not only serve as a defense but homes for some of the people who live here.

The architecture is made up of mostly stone and woods structures some house in the upper districts are made of metal but it is rare to see as it is not considered a desirable home aesthetic.
